About

Speech-to-speech is Hugging Face's open framework for real-time voice agents. Rather than one end-to-end model, it chains speech detection, transcription, a low-latency language model, and synthesis, so any stage can be swapped or hosted separately. This Scrooge shell keeps the spending tools local while the voice runtime can run on hosted inference.

The pipeline

  4. LLM analyses and composes the reply · via Cerebras google/gemma-4-31B-it
  5. TTS speaks it back Qwen/Qwen3-TTS-12Hz-1.7B-CustomVoice
  6. The orb replies
